Seriously, though, we are loving California!

We love our views, with mountains to the North (only an hour's drive) and the beach a mere 2-hour drive to the West (have yet to hit the beach, but we're looking forward to it!) The kids love to play in their new backyard, there are some great parks and a beautiful lake we get to walk around everyday (see entry below). The climate is temperate (so far!)--cool at night and in the a.m. and warm and sunny during the day. There is a Fresno temple and it is beautiful. There are Farmer's Markets all over town including a great downtown Clovis one every Friday night of the summer with live music, dancing and great treats! There are orchards and vineyards in and around Fresno with fruit and vegetable stands whose goods are so fresh and prices so reasonable it makes you wonder why anyone would ever buy produce in the store! (Oh, wait, we don't all live in California!)
