Family Reunion

Park City, Allen/Demke Family Reunion 2008! Some of the highlights:
*Uncle Ron's famous oatmeal, enchiladas, breakfast soufles, and fuzzy navals!

*Daniel's "Mr. Roboto"

*Kaia singing and strumming her blanket in the middle of a room full of admiring fans

*The little monkeys jumping on the bed

*Marcus' muscle-man swimsuit and holding on to Mommy for dear life

*Aaron and I getting to go to our dear friends' (also Allens) sealing--beautiful! and seeing our other friends from Colorado (Allens, again!) there--weekend full of "Allens"!!

*Me repeatedly telling cousin Michael and Dallin I didn't want to get my hair wet at the pool

*Me repeatedly getting dunked and canon-balled by cousin Michael and Dallin

*Get Smart!

*Baby shower for Lisa (due August 15!)


*Beautiful cupcakes by Tara

*Boys night out--including alpine slide, Salt Lake Art show, dinner out on the town and an outdoor concert--still wondering what they're leaving out!

*The "Demke boys" (Dad, Aaron, Dallin) trying to pull the "Allen boys" (Uncle Ron, Michael, Isaac, and Daniel) from the dance-pit to go home--unsuccessfully! "Just one more song!"

*Not being able to capture Bethany's beauty in a family photo (she's the one hiding!)

*The shopping, nature walks, downtown Park City, making the shuttle driver stop at 7-11 for pick-me-up drinks . . .

*Fabulous food, of course

*Even more fabulous company--NEVER a dull moment with this many Allens and Demkes in one 2-bedroom condo that magically accomodated 21 people with beds everynight--the transformation was truly Harry Potter-esque!
